Pittsburgh natives 1,2,3 are a trio that feature pop melodies and fuzzy guitars crammed into a Folk-like style. They are scheduled to release their debut album New Heaven on June 21st via Frenchkiss. You can listen to a new song featured on that album called "Work"
In an interview with frontman Nic Synder says “Work is a blue-collar anthem for his fellow people of Pittsburgh: “I painted houses for three years for a small crew that my friend ran. He’s incidentally in jail now because he had a little side action, but, he told me I should write a working class anthem. I said I didn’t know if I could. I still don’t know, but, I wrote this song anyway.”
